It’s goal is to get people out into the community, get there feet moving and blood pumping, and to teach them something new about Hazleton. It’s called Y-Walks and these walks are like no other. “Y-Walk Wednesdays” mix education with physical activity! News 13 stopped by the Hazleton YMCA/YWCA Wednesday night for the first walk of the season. A big crowd turned up to tour the United Way organizations around the city of Hazleton while getting a 60 to 90 minute workout. If you want to catch the walk next time around it’s happening Wednesday, July 25th at 6pm starting at the Hazleton YMCA/YWCA. That walk will take you on a tour all around the downtown area to explore the Hispanic/Latino eateries.
