Two Local Robberies

Criminals struck again, this time at local motel.
Jeffery McTighe of Hazle Township told State police that his motel room
at the Penn Terrace Motel was broken into and several items were
snatched. The burglary happened sometime between 3:30 and 6:30 Tuesday
afternoon. State police tell us the burglar got into the motel room
through an unlocked ground floor window and proceeded to steal a Sony
Play Station Two and a power tool set. Troopers tell us they are also
investigating a burglary at a home construction site on Brazzo Road in
Hazle Township. It happened Monday. The victim, Michael Cherba, told
troopers the back door was broke and whoever did it and got in got away
with various tools. Neighbors told police the thief or thieves fled the
area in a white, older model Ford Explorer. Troopers ask if you have any
information about that vehicle or who committed either of these crime to
dial 9-1-1

No Apal. I believe it has to do with with druggies looking for anything and everything and anyONE to rob to fuel their habit. My advice……….purchase that handgun but get some serious instruction on how to handle it.
