Hungry anyone? How about some pasta for police. The Freeland Police
Association will be sponsoring a spaghetti dinner, to help in the on
going fight against crime. The Dinner will be held Saturday, February
25th takeouts and deliveries will be available from 2 to 3pm and sit
down will be available from 3 to 6pm. This all takes place at the
Freeland VFW along Center street in the borough. On the menu you will
find spaghetti, meatballs, salad, bread, dessert, and beverages. The
cost is 6 dollars for adults, 5 dollars for seniors over 55 years old, 4
dollars for kids ages 5 to 18 and kids under 5 are free. Tickets are
available at: Videomania, Freeland Municipal Authority office, Resuta’s
Sports Bar or by calling Bobby Quinn Jr at 956-1371. So far the
association has raised close to 5,000 in donations and all the money
raised helps out the police department.
