Lackawanna County: Exit 185 (Central Scranton Expressway) to Exit 191B
(Scranton Expressway) for sweeping operation; north and south; Monday
thru Friday, 4 a.m. to noon. Slow moving operation with alternating
shoulder closures.

Lackawanna County: Exit 2 (Elmhurst) to the I-81/84 split for sweeping operation; east and west; Monday thru Friday, 4 a.m. to noon. Slow moving operation with alternating shoulder closures.

Lackawanna County: Exit 8 (Mt. Cobb/Hamlin) to Lackawanna/Wayne County line; east; Thursday, March 29; 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Right lane closed for bridge deck patching.

Lackawanna County: Exit 3 (84/380 split) to Exit 8 (Mt. Cobb); east; Wednesday, March 28; 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Right lane closed for patching

*Pike County: Exit 20 (Greentown/Lake Wallenpaupack) to Exit 17 (Newfoundland/Hamlin); westbound; single lane for milling, paving and guiderail repair. NOTE: This work will continue until October 2012.

*SR 3023 Pittston Ave., Scranton, PA. Milling and paving full width from
Sanders Street to Beech Street. Milling work to begin on Monday March 26
through Friday March 30 from 7 6 p.m. Paving to begin on Monday
April 2 through Thursday April 5 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Parking
Restrictions will be posted. There will be single lane traffic during
the operations. Motorists are advised to avoid area.




Lane Restrictions:

SR 11, Salem Twp: There will be a single lane restriction in both
directions for crack sealing. All work is subject to weather conditions.
Work will take place on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 7
a.m. to 3 p.m.

SR 309 SB, Courtdale: There will be alternating lane closures between
Hillside Rd (Kingston) and Exit 5 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
from 9 a.m. to 2: 30 p.m.

*SR 309 (Broad Street) – Work will begin in West Hazleton starting from
Washington/15^th Street for curbing, sidewalk and widening along the
shopping center near SR 924(Diamond Ave.) in Hazleton and the Terrace
section of Hazleton. Barrier placement will be near SR 424 (Arthur
Gardner Parkway) towards Coxe St.

Contractors will work from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekdays and Saturdays
7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

SR 502, Pittston Twp, Luzerne Co.: There will be lane restrictions in
both directions, for crack sealing Monday and Wednesday.

*SR 1011, Pierce Street – Week of March 26 – Bridge Deck Replacement
Project. Contractor will begin removing the concrete mountable curb &
barrier from between the eastbound & westbound lanes at each end of the
Pierce Street Bridge. Temporary pavement will be placed in this area
when removal is complete. This work is in preparation for the deck
replacement that will begin in April 2012. Eastbound & westbound passing
lanes will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday.
Traffic delays might be experienced. Scheduled work is weather dependent
and subject to change.

SR 2019, Oak St Pittston Twp: Both Directions, Pothole Patching @ RR
Crossing near Pittston Convention Center, Thursday

SR 2029, York Ave, Duryea: Both Directions, Pothole Patching, Mon & Wed

*Hillside Road: Hillside Road will be closed to replace a stone arch
culvert with a precast box culvert. Traffic will be detoured onto Chase
Road then to Huntsville Road. The work is expected to take approximately
4 months.




SR 6, Westfall Township – Drilling is anticipated to be performed Monday
from 10:00 a.m. through the evening hours and Tuesday morning, if
necessary. Drilling is anticipated to be completed by Tuesday, March 27,
2012. This project is from the Delaware Valley high school to the signal
at the Price Chopper store in Westfall Twp. Pike County.



*SR 706 Montrose. This is a roadway reconstruction Rehab consisting of
drainage updates, road widening, pavement resurfacing, Traffic Signal
modification and new traffic signal, and Sidewalks. This is a Two year
project. The contractor will be starting work from the intersection of
SR 167/706 to the intersection of SR 1028/SR 29/706 (at the Montrose
Golf Course). The contractor has setup the traffic work zone signs/ They
will be starting with clearing – trimming and removal of trees. This
work will be done off the roadway and traffic will not be affected.



*SR 6 Deer Park Bridge Tunkhannock. This is a bridge rehab project with
a temporary traffic signal. Currently traffic is controlled be the
temporary signal with a single lane.
