Hazleton Snow Storm
A 5 year old boy went out for a day of fun and sledding on Thursday. Unfortunately, the day took a turn for the worse when he struck a tree and was knocked unconscious. Sugarloaf Ambulance Crews rushed him to LaRock Field, where he was rushed onto a medical chopper, and flown to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Thursday evening, there was no word on his condition. Mother Nature continued to wreak havoc for others and they tried to dig their way out of the snow. Joe Zarkowsky of Hazleton finds the snow to be a nuisence and has already had enough. John Scri was visiting from North Carolina. He drove through the storm with his family Wednesday night, which caused them a lot of trouble. However, he said it was all worth it because they were able go out sledding. While the storm did cause problems for some, others enjoyed the first snow storm and cannot wait for more.
