Richard Kline is ready to light the menora. He and his family have been celebrating Hanukah with the Agnus Israel Synagogue in Hazleton for years. This holiday is special because it lasts for eight nights. That’s right, eight days of presents, songs and each night they light one more candle or in some cases they use oil.Richard said this holiday is something usually shared at home with special foods prepared with oils. Of course we couldn’t forget the dradle. The little toy has been passed down from generation to generation to help share the true meaning of the holiday.
Happy Hanukkah, from News 13!
